Who we are

CMPND ("we", "us") is operated by Filipp Ruskihs (ABN 42 321 854 458), a sole trader in Western Australia. This policy explains what data we collect when you create a CMPND account and connect your Instagram account, how we use it, and how you can request its deletion. Data we collect

When you create a CMPND account, we store:

• Your email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself).

When you connect your Instagram Business or Creator account via Instagram's official Business Login (Instagram Graph API), we access and store:

• Basic profile info: your Instagram user ID, username, account type, follower and following counts, and media count.
• Media you've posted: reels and feed posts, including captions, thumbnails, publish dates, permalinks, and reel durations.
• Performance insights for that media: views, likes, comments, shares, saves, reach, total interactions, and average reel watch time.
• Follower count history, captured each time your data is synced, and daily follows and unfollows where Instagram provides them.
• Direct messages: messages sent to and from your account in Instagram Direct, which Instagram delivers to us as they arrive. We store the message text, timestamps, and the other participant's Instagram-scoped ID and username.

We also store draft videos you choose to upload for pre-publish feedback, until you delete them.

We request only the Instagram permissions these features need: instagram_business_basic, instagram_business_manage_insights, and instagram_business_manage_messages. We do not read the content of comments, we never post, comment, or send messages on your behalf, and we do not access any data outside your own connected account.

How we use it

Your data is used solely to power your own CMPND dashboard: performance charts, historical trends, content organization (e.g. grouping reels into a series), daily reports, and AI-assisted features. Your data is never shown to other CMPND users.

AI-assisted features (content suggestions, hook and script ideas, trend summaries, video feedback, retention analysis, and DM reply drafts) are generated by Anthropic (the maker of Claude). To produce them, we send Anthropic the relevant data: captions and performance numbers, still frames taken from your reels and uploaded drafts, and the text of DM conversations you receive. DM reply drafts are shown only to you, to review and send yourself in Instagram. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, this data is used to provide the output and is not used to train their models.

If you receive daily reports by email, the report (a summary and your headline numbers) is sent to your account email through our email provider, Resend.

We do not sell your data, and we share it only with the service providers named in this policy (Railway, Anthropic, and Resend), solely to run CMPND.

Where it's stored

Data and uploaded draft videos are stored on infrastructure hosted by Railway. Your data is only accessible after logging in to your own CMPND account. Your Instagram access token is stored so we can keep syncing your data on your behalf, and it is never exposed in the application's user interface.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your data for as long as you keep your CMPND account. You can request full deletion of your data - your CMPND account, connected Instagram account, synced media, insights history, direct messages, uploaded drafts, and any AI-generated content - at any time by emailing filippruskih@gmail.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" from your account email. We will permanently delete your data and reply to confirm once it's done, within 30 days.

You can delete uploaded draft videos yourself at any time from the app. You can also revoke CMPND's access to your Instagram account at any time in Instagram (Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites), which stops any further syncing immediately.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion (see above) at any time by contacting filippruskih@gmail.com.

Our use of Instagram data complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Instagram Platform Policy.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you directly.
